The scent is subtle as the listing mentions and it’s lovey. It’s just enough to create a relaxing atmosphere without being over powering. Perfect for those who just want a little touch of a nice woody scent.
Amazing smell, looks awesome. However, the tin doesn’t get hot enough for the whole candle to burn. If the tin can be change where the whole candle burns i’ll give it 5 stars. When my friend gave me Teabag as a gift, the whole candle burned 100%. So besides the lavender tin not getting hot enough, the candle is amazing and has a great smell.
I am in LOVE with this candle! The scent is lovely but not overwhelming for my partner who is more sensitive to scents. I have used it pretty consistently since the day I got it in the mail and I can tell the candle will last a while yet still. It's my first purchase and the quality has me ready to buy more candles already!
The scent is great, but the tin doesn't get hot enough to ensure a full surface melt. I purchased another candle (Vampire Mommy) in the same order that doesn't have the same problem; the tin is noticeably hotter and always has a full surface melt. With Lavender Town I end up scraping unmelted wax closer to the flame to avoid tunneling.
It has a really nice smell and I love the color, but the actual strength of the scent is just way too subdued. You can definitely smell it straight out of the tin, but even then you might notice its lack of strength. When burning, it can be a little difficult to detect, especially after you've acclimated to it. I smell it on entering the room but it quickly shifts to something I can barely detect if I'm paying attention. I use it in a small room five feet from where I sit with the doors, windows, and vents shut and I still really can't smell it very well. I feel like I have a pretty solid sense of smell, so I don't think it's just me. Who knows, maybe my room just already smelled like this?
I feel a little lied to by the "strength" meter, I know it's not much to go off of and all but its rating implies that it's a standard candle but it's not only weak in comparison to those, but also in comparison to "Fake Cake", another candle from Wick & Skull that falls in the same spot on the meter.
